Terms and Conditions

Last updated: March 31, 2026

These terms describe the rules that apply to the TripVaria mobile app and related services. This website version is aligned with the current in-app legal text.

1. Acceptance of the terms

By installing, accessing or using TripVaria, you accept these Terms and Conditions together with the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with them, you should not use the service.

These terms apply to the mobile app, backend services, content made available through TripVaria and any premium or AI-powered functionality offered inside the app.

2. Accounts and eligibility

  • You are responsible for the credentials used to access your account and for the activity performed through that account.
  • Authentication may be available through Google, Apple, email/password or anonymous session, depending on platform and flow.
  • We may suspend, limit or close accounts that violate these terms, community rules or legal requirements.

3. Description of the service

  • TripVaria provides route planning, place discovery, favorites, history, collections, itineraries, travel journal, community features and dedicated business or admin capabilities.
  • Some features rely on third-party services for maps, places, weather, authentication, payments and AI generation.
  • Some features are free, while others are available only to premium plans or during eligible trial periods.

4. Subscriptions, trial and premium features

  • Premium features, including some AI capabilities, may require an active subscription or an eligible trial.
  • Pricing, taxes, renewals, cancellations and refunds for in-app purchases are governed by the rules of the store where the purchase was made, such as Google Play or the App Store.
  • We may change the availability of premium features, trial eligibility or operational limits if technical, commercial or compliance conditions change.

5. User-generated content

You may submit reviews, ratings, photos, pro tips, questions, answers, public itineraries or place contributions. You are solely responsible for the content you upload and you confirm that you have the rights needed to use and publish it.

By publishing content in TripVaria, you grant us a non-exclusive license, revocable to the extent permitted by law, to host, store, display, reproduce and distribute that content within the service and in materials required to operate and promote the platform.

  • You may not publish unlawful, defamatory, misleading, obscene, violent, discriminatory or rights-infringing content.
  • You may not upload photos or text unless you hold sufficient rights to do so.
  • We may moderate, hide or remove content that breaches these terms or community standards.

6. Acceptable use rules

  • You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, data, administrative endpoints or technical systems used by the service.
  • You may not use the app for spam, abusive scraping, service disruption, review manipulation or fraud.
  • You may not impersonate another person, business or entity.
  • You must use the app in compliance with applicable law and with the rules of integrated third-party platforms.

7. Place data, routing and AI

Place information, photos, schedules, routes, weather details and AI summaries may come from third parties or from user-generated content and may be incomplete, outdated or inaccurate.

AI features are provided as informational assistance and travel inspiration. They do not guarantee absolute accuracy and do not replace human judgment, live conditions, road rules or safety recommendations.

8. Business users and place contributions

  • If you submit or claim a place on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have the authority to act for that business.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the data, offers, descriptions, images and commercial information that you publish.
  • We may require additional verification, reject, send back for review or withdraw business content when accuracy, legality or compliance issues arise.

9. Intellectual property

The app, TripVaria branding, proprietary source code, product structure, protected text and visual elements belong to TripVaria or its licensors, except for content owned by users or third-party providers.

You may not copy, resell, decompile, distribute or commercially exploit the service or substantial parts of it without our written permission, except where expressly allowed by law.

10. Suspension, termination and account deletion

  • You may stop using the service at any time and you may request account deletion from the dedicated in-app flow.
  • We may suspend or terminate access if there are term breaches, security risks, abuse, fraud or legal requirements.
  • Termination does not automatically erase obligations that arose earlier, including those related to payments, disputes or ongoing investigations.

11. Limitation of liability

The service is provided as available, within reasonable operating limits. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, absolute accuracy of third-party data or compatibility with every device and every use case.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TripVaria is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses resulting from use of the service, third-party content, decisions made based on recommendations or temporary app unavailability.

12. Privacy and changes

How we process personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of the overall service framework.

We may update these terms when the product, providers or legal obligations change. We will update the date shown at the top of the document and should publish the same version on the official TripVaria website.
